Today marks two weeks until we tee it up!!

Two weeks from today, over 160 golfers will tee it up at the beautiful Golf Club at Terra Lago in Indio, CA. Our 11th annual event looks to be another great day for the youth of the Coachella Valley.  This year, we will honor the memory of committee member and charter Boys Club member, David Patino.  David was a dedicated supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coachella Valley and in particular, our tournament and we miss his irrepressible smile, sense of humor, and commitment to helping Club members succeed.

We will once again feature our online and live auction with a wealth of sports memorabilia, golf foursomes and other great items for you to bid on.  Items to date include tickets to Dodgers/Yankees, Dodgers/Mets and Dodgers/Angel games for the baseball fans out there. Golf foursomes at such desert courses like Bighorn, Silver Rock, Andalusia, the Classic Club, El Dorado, Bermuda Dunes and other great venues.  Autographed  baseballs from Shohei Ohtani, Cal Ripken Jr, Eddie Murray, and CC Sabathia along with a signed helmet from Cal Ripken Jr and signed Steph Curry jersey. In addition, we have some great gift baskets with wine included and some stunning Swarovski crystal purses and jewelry.  Mother's Day is just around the corner for all you last minute shoppers.

We have added a new twist to activities this year.  We are creating more opportunities in the silent auction for our donated items and replacing the raffle with a 50/50 drawing.  Should be a great addition to the day.

Honoring David Patino

This past year, we sadly lost one of our original Boys Club members with the passing of David Patino.  He was a longtime member of the Tony Reagins Golf Committee and totally committed to the cause.  His warm personality and smile could light up the room and he is missed by many.  A retired police officer, David opened up his own security business, Personal Protective Security Services a few years back and quickly built an excellent reputation in the Valley. We are proud to honor the memory of a truly good man and friend.
